This weeks photo was taken at Burke Lake Park in northern VA. One of the things I love most about living in DC is that I’m only 30 minutes from this!

This week has been a whirlwind.  In addition to working on multiple projects all with the same deadline followed up by a trip to the ER for an allergy attack. This season has been the worst for allergies!

Thankfully the weekend should be sunny and bright and I will spend a little time outside, and lots of fun in the kitchen. I’ve really been in the mood for bluberry cornmeal pancakes for breakfast.  I’m also going to try to make kimchi fried rice with Spam!  Who knew spam was still around. 

My real coup for the week was finally snagging a Nintendo Switch for Miles. I only had to wait in line for 2 ½ hours, but I was first in line. Oh what we moms do for our kids 😁
