Friday Things


My mind is still at sea. It’s been a week of ups and downs. High heat and humidity. Busy, busy time at work. A time when I could really go for a little comfort food and I found four recipes that would be perfect!
I think these crispy bacon waffles with bourbon butter and blueberry syrup from How Sweet Eats, would be a great start for breakfast in bed.

Who would want these steak brie sliders with a balsamic cranberry sauce from Half Baked Harvest for a comfort lunch?

I never would’ve thought to make a bolognese with chorizo, but I sure am glad that Donna Hay did!

Olive oil ice cream from Bon Appetit would be the cherry on top of my comfort food day.  Have a great weekend!!!
