Now that I’m working in downtown DC, I find myself actually eating lunch. I’m waiting to it to get a little warmer, then it’s going to be long walks over the Mall and sitting in the grass.
I’ve been lucky enough in my new job to find lots of cool people who want to lunch. One of the first places a coworker took me was to Zentan, a sushi and Asian fusion place near the office. I had no expectation and was pleasantly surprised by what I had. My favorite by far was the garlic edamame.
I also ordered the salmon bowl which was lightly broiled salmon with mushrooms over rice. It was very nice and light, but I added a little of the garlic sauce from the edamame and my toes started to curl!
