I love to cook but rarely ever have time in the evenings. Tonight I made some super quick and easy shrimp tacos with a raw kale salad on the side. I sautéed the shrimp in olive oil, country crock and Detroit Spice Co Mexicantown Seasoning. The taco shells were Ortega (the cheapest hard shell at only $1.59/box) and I topped them off with Frontera Mango Key Lime salsa, avocado send a 6 month Manchego cheese picked up from Whole Foods. Overall, it was a tasty, quick, filling meal!!
Exactly! We’ve discovered a lot of great cheese that way 🙂
I love those spices!!! The Whole Foods near me doesn’t ave the scrap cheese bin but the one in South Loop does! Its a great (and cost effective, LOL) way to try new ones.
I know the guy who owns the Detroit Spice Company 🙂 Have you ever gone to the “scrap” cheese bin at Whole Foods? It’s one of my favorite things about the store.
